Axial Flow Pump and Mixed Flow Pump Maintenance and Care
Axial Flow Pump and Mixed Flow Pump must be monitored and maintained to maintain long-term safe operation. To ensure that there are less or no failures, and that failures can be eliminated in time.
(1) Check whether the pump shaft and drive shaft are bent due to transportation, if so, they need to be straightened.
(2) The installation elevation of the pump must be in accordance with the provisions of the product manual to meet the requirements of the cavitation margin and starting requirements.
(3) The pool should be equipped with a dirt fence before the water intake to avoid debris being brought into the pump. Water flow rate through the fence to not more than 0.3 m / s is appropriate.
(4) pump installation before the need to check the installation angle of the vane is in line with the requirements, whether the vane is loose, etc..
(5) After installation, should check whether the coupling and the nuts of the foot bolts have been tightened. When tightening the nuts on the drive shaft and pump shaft, pay attention to their thread direction.
(6) The drive shaft and pump shaft must be installed on the same vertical line, and the allowable error is less than 0.03mm/m.
(7) The pump discharge pipe should be supported by a separate bracket, not by the pump body.
(8) The pump outlet pipe should not be installed gate valve, if any, must be completely open before starting.
(9)When using check valve, it is better to install a balance hammer to balance the gravity of the door cover, so that the pump can operate more economically.
(10) for the transmission device lubricated with butter, bearing oil cavity maintenance should be disassembled and cleaned, re-injected with lubricant, the amount to fill the oil cavity of 1/2 to 2/3 is appropriate to avoid running bearing temperature rise too high. Special attention must be paid to the rubber bearing must not touch the oil.
(11) pump before starting, should be to the upper stuffing box at the short tube of water or soapy water, used to lubricate the rubber or plastic bearings, to stop after the normal operation of the pump.
(12) The pump should start each time before the first three to four revolutions of the disk coupling, and pay attention to whether there is uneven weight and other phenomena. If there is the above phenomenon, the cause must be checked and try to eliminate before running.
(13) Axial Flow Pump and Mixed Flow Pump should always pay attention to the following points when operating.
①Whether the depth of impeller immersion is sufficient, i.e. whether the water inlet level is too low, so as not to affect the flow rate or generate noise.
②Whether the outer edge of the impeller and the impeller shell are worn, whether the blade is wound with debris, whether the rubber or plastic bearing is too tight or burnt out.
③ whether the fastening bolt is loose, whether the pump shaft and transmission shaft center is consistent.
(14) Since Axial Flow Pump and Mixed Flow Pump are generally not equipped with gate valve on the discharge pipe, so they can be stopped directly. After the pump is shut down, the water and oil stains on the surface of the pump and power machine should be wiped clean. For some problems that cannot be dealt with during operation, they should be dealt with in time after shutdown.
(15) Axial Flow Pump and Mixed Flow Pump should be repaired after the end of the drainage and irrigation season, when they have been in operation for about 1000 hours, and when they have been in operation for about 2000 hours, they should be repaired.
