Non-submersible axial flow and mixed flow pumps are widely used in irrigation, flood and storm water control and other large volume water supply and drainage.

CPP provides small sizes of 100-300 for especially small agricultural irrigation, medium sizes of 350-1200, and large sizes of 1400-3000, and also mega sizes & excellent hydraulics developed and optimized specifically for South-to-North-Water-Transfer project.

This type of pump can be installed not only vertically, but also horizontally and inclined by coupled with specific drive and thrust bearing assembly. Besides, split casing type is also available. When installed vertically, single or double foundation, discharge above or below foundation are all available.

Hub-vane impeller design of axial flow pump makes it possible to adjust vane angles either during operation or when off-duty. Normally, a hollow pump shaft and hollow-shaft motor is required, and an adjusting mechanism should be positioned above motor to drive a pulling rod which drives the turning of vanes accordingly.

CPP can offer beyond.

A special and reliable hydraulic type adjusting mechanism can be positioned between pump and motor if customer uses solid-shaft motor to reduce motor cost. This type of mechanism can avoid also sudden pump lift when unexpected or emergent shut down happens. It has been applied successfully to lots of Chinese pumping stations, especially on those mega-size pump in South-to-North Water Transfer.
