Screw centrifugal impeller pump, originally invented and developed by the founder of Hydrostal to avoid damaging fish for fisheries industry, has been widely applied to handle industrial effluent, raw unscreened sewage, viscous sludge, return activated sludge, drainage and storm water, process waste, sump cleanup, bacterial floc, live fish, fruits and vegetables, for more than 60 years, especially for pumping of viscous liquids and fluids requiring gentle handling.

Depending on the application and general requirements, screw centrifugal impeller pump can be constructed submersible or dry type, vertical or horizontal installation to satisfy.

Screw centrifugal impeller pumps allow almost clog-free operation for a wide range of applications and also excel under demanding conditions. The efficacy of pumps is significantly higher than those of comparable products. The discharge head characteristic curves are steep with a flat power curve and make it possible to adapter pump operation to the individual conveying task in a cost-effective manner - particularly in speed-controlled operation.
